Study on quality control for ODN products

ODN(光分配网络)是FTTH(光纤到户)网络的重要组成部分,其质量的好坏是建设方关注的重点。文章在对抽查的ODN产品全性能检测数据统计的基础上,对ODN主要产品的常见缺陷进行了归纳,对缺陷产生的原因逐一进行了分析,并提出了4种改进方法,以帮助生产厂家改善ODN产品质量。为控制ODN产品质量,需要生产企业、用户和行业主管部门共同努力。

The Optical Distribution Network （ODN） is an important component part of FTTH networks and its quality is a fo- cus of attention of project owners. On the basis of the performance test data statistics of the sampled ODN products, this paper summarizes the common defects of the main ODN products, analyzes their causes in details and put forward four measures for improvement. To control the quality of ODN products, it is necessary for ODN manufacturers, users and the relevant adminis- trative departments to make joint efforts.
