大学应成为国学复兴的担纲者

The University Should Play the Leading Role in the Rejuvenation of Studies of Chinese Traditional Culture

国学是国本,国学复兴是文化复兴。返本开新,开放包容,多元交融,促进国学现代转型,其影响和受益的不仅是中华民族,也会为人类文明进步带来福祉。要传承和弘扬国学,培养具有文化自觉自信的中国人,需要加强国学教育,国学应成为教育的重要内容。中国大学应根植于中国文明深处,成为国学复兴的担纲者。为此,需要:⑴从战略高度看待国学教育的重要性;⑵扎扎实实从制度和内容上加强国学教育;⑶加强中西文化比较与融会教育;⑷努力培养现代国学专门人才;⑸注重培育人格,陶铸精神;⑹加强教师教育与培训,提高教师队伍国学修养等。

The Chinese traditional culture is a foundation of China. Rejuvenation of studies of Chinese traditional culture is an essential part of cultural rejuvenation of Chinese nation. Rejuvenation and innovation, openness and tolerance, multi-cultural communication, promotion of modern transformation of Chinese traditional culture, will not only influence and benefit Chinese nation, but also bring prosperity to human civilization progress. Education ought to cultivate culturally conscientious and confident Chinese. Chinese traditional culture should become an important part in the education system in which the university should play the leading role in the rejuvenation of studies of Chinese traditional culture. The following can be considered as beneficial strategies. First, regard the education of Chinese traditional culture from a strategic perspective. Second, enhance the education of Chinese traditional culture from the perspective of system and contents. Third, strengthen the comparative and integrative education between Chinese and western cultures. Fourth, endeavor to cultivate talents for modern studies of traditional culture. Fifth, cultivate humanistic spirit. Sixth, strengthen teachers＇ education and training, and improve teachers＇ cultivation in studies of Chinese traditional culture.
