This paper discussed the necessity of the integration of urban and rural planning compilation and restricted factors,and the background and application of collaborative optimization technology. According to the characteristics of urban and rural system as a complex giant system,in order to improve the quality and efficiency of science,planning of urban and rural integration,system engineering,concurrent engineering methods and technology,it is combined with 3S technology,information technology,construct the collaborative optimization technology integration platform of urban and rural planning.
