It is both a basic theoretical, and an important and practical issue to design a modem system of vocational education. Therefore, we should make a correct comparison between representative systems of vocational education in the modem world on basis of the actualities of our country and the actual situation in the modem times and carefully summarize practical experience in China in the course of designing systems of vocational education in the modem times. We should use and base mainly on our own experience, which can provide helpful and scientific reference in our exploration into designing a modem and world-level system of vocational education with Chinese characteristics.
