摘要
辛亥革命爆发前,陈垣总结《时事画报》的办报经验,开辟出一条行之有效的医学救国之路,学医兴医却不行医,而是"以著述医自任",积极创办《医学卫生报》和《光华医事卫生杂志》,并发表100多篇医学文章。这些文章纵论古今,融汇中西,积极宣传救国、保民、强种思想,对推介医学新知、唤醒国民意识和改良卫生体制等方面产生重要社会影响。
Before the 1911 Revolution, Chen Yuan found an effective way to save the nation by medical science. He published nearly one hundred of medical articles on medicine periodicals referring to the ancient and nowadays and integrating with the East and the West. Meanwhile, he advocated the thoughts of saving China, preserving citizens, and strengthening the ethnics, having a great social effect on promoting new knowledge of medicine, arousing national awareness, and improving the health institutions etc.
