体育是师范院校教学的重要内容,体育教学的内容多来源于竞技体育。然而,地方师范院校的培养目标是乡村中小学教师,教学内容与培养目标存在着不一致性。运城是传统体育项目十分丰富的地区。将传统体育和师范体育教学联系起来,既激发了学生对体育课的兴趣,又是对传统文化的很好传承。

Physical education（PE） is important in normal universities with teaching contents mostly from competitive sports, which does conform to the objectives of normal education of training primary and secondary school teachers for rural areas.
