抗日战争全面爆发后,自"九·一八"事变后流亡各地的一些东北作家相继奔赴解放区,在这个安定团结的新天地里他们开始了全新的生活,拓宽了写作题材,开创不同于此前的创作风格,进行了一次自我身心的疗救。在延安解放区的萧军创作了一些富有批判色彩的文章,指出解放区存在的缺陷和弊端,给解放区进行了一次宝贵的疗救。
