《蝴蝶君》是美籍华裔作家黄哲伦的代表作。通过从形象学的视角分析代表自我势利的伽里玛与代表异族他者的宋丽玲的互动性,剖析西方人眼中作为"他者"的东方形象的产生、流传及社会文化背景,指出其背后所隐藏的虚构性和殖民主义意识。
M. Butterfly is the masterpiece of Chinese - American playwriter David Henry Hwang. This article attempts to ana- lyze the interaction between GaUimard as the self and Song Liling as others from the perspective of imagology. The paper tries to ex- plore how the oriental images are produced and spread as well as the cultural background, and it is concluded that the fictional and colonial consciousness concealed behind the images of others can be found.
