摘要
以英语专业学生的英语学习成败归因调查为基础,就归因的总体倾向和特点进行了分析研究。结果表明:表面上学生一般都能对学习成败做出有效的归因,实际情况是学生的自我归因不一定能恰当反映其自身真实的情况,而且高水平的学习者与低水平的学习者在成败归因上存在差异,外语教师应尽可能全面了解学生的归因特点,帮助学生构建富有成效的归因路径。
Based on a questionnaire and a case study, this article investigates and analyzes the general tendency and characteristics of the causal attribution of English major freshmen. It shows that (a) students seem to have effective attribution to learning success or failure, yet the fact is that their attribution may not truly reflect their learning situation; (b) high achievers and low achievers are qualitatively differentiated in causal attribution. English teachers should try their best to have a full understanding of students' attribution features so as to help them to improve their attribution tendency and develop effective attribution.
