Countermeasures for improving college students' English application ability

为了提高大学生英语应用能力,满足区域经济发展对应用型人才的需求,采用定性与定量相结合的研究方法,分析了大学英语传统教学模式中存在的不利于增强大学生英语应用能力的弊端,从教学内容、教学方法、测评机制三个方面,提出了提高大学生英语应用能力的改革措施。

In order to improve college students＇ English application ability and meet the needs of applied tal- ents for the development of the local economy, adopting quantitative and qualitative research methods, the dis- advantages of traditional college English teaching mode are analyzed, and the reform measures are proposed in teaching content, teaching approach and evaluation mechanism which can improve college students＇ English application ability.
