英美文学教学可以提高学生的英语学习兴趣,对拓展学生阅读、提高学生的综合阅读能力和人文素质都有着积极的作用。文章论述了在高职英语教学中引入英美文学知识的实践,认为引入后可以将枯燥的语言学习过程实用化,真正转化成与专业技术、能力相关的一项技能,提升专业知识的应用能力。

Literature Teaching in High-vocational English Teaching, which can improve students＇ interest in learn- ing English, in expanding the students＇ reading, has a positive effect on improving students＇ overall reading ability and human qualities. This paper discusses the authors engaged in the knowledge of English and American literature in high-vocational English teaching, that will turn the dull language learning process into a practical and truly converted and professional skills, abilities related to a skill to enhance their professional knowledge and ability to apply.
