摘要
外语焦虑与语言学习策略长期以来都是广大语言研究者所探讨的两个热门话题。基于此,采用问卷调查的方式,对中职涉外护理专业学生英语焦虑与英语学习策略的现状,以及两者之间的相关关系进行探讨。结果表明:中职涉外护理专业学生英语焦虑程度较高,其使用英语学习策略的频率较低,并且中职涉外护理专业学生的英语焦虑与英语学习策略呈负相关关系,即英语焦虑程度越高者,其英语学习策略的使用情形越差。在此基础上,对研究结果进行了讨论并提出了相应的教学建议,以期使中职英语教学领域知情并重、以情优教。
English learning anxiety and strategies are two subjects that have long been discussed by teachers and linguists. By means of questionnaires, the research mainly investigated the present situations of English anxiety and English learning strategies and the relationship between them for secondary vocational students of foreign-related nursing majors. The results revealed that they experi- enced English anxiety at a high level and used English learning strategies at a low level. Furthermore, English anxiety and English learning strategies were negatively correlated: the students who had higher anxiety tended to use English learning strategies less fre- quently. Some relevant countermeasures are put forward accordingly to lay equal emphasis on knowledge and emotion and improve teaching by emotion in secondary vocational English teaching.
