摘要 任务型语言教学法是近年来新兴的课堂教学手段,是一种以任务为核心来计划、组织语言教学的教学方法,旨在强调把语言运用的基本理念转化为具有实践意义的课堂教学模式,在课堂教学活动中让学生用英语完成各种真实生活、学习、工作等活动,从而培养学生运用英语的能力。目前,大多数高校英语泛读教学还是采用传统的方式授课,表现为过多地承担了词汇、语法等语言基础知识的任务,逐字逐句地讲解、翻译等。这种"满堂灌"的方法忽略了学生参与课堂教学的积极性,学生缺乏主动建构知识的动力,严重影响了阅读教学的效果。以英语泛读教学为突破点,依托任务型语言教学的核心理据,结合英语泛读课堂教学实际,对英语任务型泛读教学进行探析。 Task-based Language 'leaching, a new class teaching approach, is a kind oi teaching approach which is based on tasks to plan and organize language teaching. Task-based Language Teaching emphasizes to transform the use of language philosophy into teaching model with practical value. It also aims to develop students' abilities in using English by asking students to do different kinds of activities concerning real life, study and work in English. The current extensive reading class of English major is still characterized by unduly undertaking basic language knowledge task of vocabulary and grammar and adopting sentence-by-sentence explanation and translation. English major students lack efficient reading skills or motivation to read. The failure of implementing efficient teaching method in extensive reading class impacts students' reading competence. The paper focuses on implementing Task-based Language Teaching in extensive reading class for English majors. Based on various theories of task-based approach and the researcher's teaching experience, this paper makes some suggestions as how to use TBLT in extensive reading class.
