摘要
平衡活动法是交际教学法的分支之一,其中,"平衡"是指在语言输入、机械操练和交际性输出的活动安排上的一种平衡。这种教学模式兼顾了语言的形式和功能,是交际教学法历史上的一次突破。将平衡活动法运用到英语专业语法课教学中可以提高学生的学习兴趣和学习积极性,培养学生对语法知识的应用能力,从而提高语法教学的效率。在这种教学模式中,活动是贯穿整个教学过程的主体。教师应根据一些活动设计原则以及英语专业学生的特点和已有的语言知识来精心设计适当的教学活动,才能使语法课堂上的教学活动效率得到保障。
Balanced Activities Approach, which focuses on a balance between language input, practice and commu- nication output, is one of the branches of Communicative Language Teaching (CLT). This teaching approach emphasizes both the forms and functions of languages and is a breakthrough in the history of CLT. By applying Balanced Activities Approach in English Grammar Class, teachers can arouse students" interest in study, enhance their learning initiative, and improve their ability to put the grammatical knowledge they have learnt into practical use. As a result, the efficiency of an English Grammar Class can be improved. Activities are the major part of the teaching process guided by this teach- ing model To ensure the efficiency of these activities, teachers should attach importance to preparing appropriate activities according to some principles and the characteristics and language level of students.
