Analysis of Economic Factors of Influencing Social Stability in Multi-minority Communities in Urumqi

目前乌鲁木齐市的发展形势是历史上最好的。但在发展形势喜人的同时,不容忽视的是,乌鲁木齐作为一个多民族聚居的大型城市,社区居民的收入、就业、社会保障等方面仍存在一些较为突出的问题,这些经济层面的问题与多民族聚居因素相叠加,若不妥善处理,将对乌鲁木齐市的社会稳定造成重要影响。

Urumqi is a city with many minorities and is characterized by the multi-minority residents living together, thus there are some problems in income, employment, social security and so on. The paper analyzes the problems which will cause instability in the multi-minority communities and makes efforts to explain these problems from economic perspective.
