摘要
学科评估是学科建设的重要推动力量,重视定量评估已经成为学科评估的重要趋势。本文以美国基本科学指标(ESI)为数据来源,对我国环境科学、生态学学科的国际发展现状进行比较研究,并对ESI中的学科排名与教育部第三轮学科评估结果进行对比分析。研究表明,尽管ESI作为学科分析工具存在着指标单一等缺点,但其对于推动国际学科之间的比较研究具有独特的优势。
Discipline assessment is an important driving force for the construction of disciplines, and putting more emphasis on quantitative assessment has become an important trend in discipline assessment.Based on the data of Essential Science Indicators(ESI),this paper carries out a comparative study of international development situation of China's environmental science and ecology disciplines,and contrasts the ranking of ESI with that of the third assessment results of China Discipline Ranking.The result shows that as a tool of discipline assessment,the ESI has a shortcoming of single indicator;however,it has a unique advantage for the promotion of the international comparative study of disciplines.
