Translators' ethics are the code of conducts and behavioral facts of the translators. The translators' role displays ethical characteristics. It is the reflection of his/her self-realization and social recognition during the process whereby the conducts of the translators are being carded out. This paper works on the development of the translation history by reviewing the changes of the ethical behaviors of translators. It is found that over the years of evolution of translation history, the role of translators has changed consistently from a succumb one, to a more neutral role, and finally to that of a role that holds certain powers.
