CAFTA and SMEs Development: Based on an empirical analysis of Quanzhou

中国—东盟自由贸易区的建立给泉州中小企业发展带来巨大的机遇,使双方的生产可能性边界发生变化,究其原因,有市场广阔、物产丰富、政策优惠、机制创新、优势互补,促进贸易自由化、专业化与劳动分工等方面;而同时也给泉州中小企业发展带来同质产业竞争、基础设施不完善、市场层次不平衡、市场经营风险等挑战。泉州中小企业需要充分运用合作机制,协调企业合作与降低风险,优化国际分工,改善投资环境,提升国际经营水平等以推动企业跨越发展。

The establishment of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area（CAFTA） offers great opportunities to the development of small and medium enterprises（SMEs） in Quanzhou.It makes both production possibility frontier（PPF） changed.These result from vast market,abundant resources,preferential policies,mechanism innovation,complementary advances and promotion of trade liberalization,specialization and division of labor.But at the same time the SMRs are facing many challenges,such as homogeneous industry competition,inadequate infrastructure,imbalance of the market level,market and operational risks etc.The Quanzhou SMEs need to make full use of cooperation mechanisms,coordinate SMEs cooperation,reduce risk,optimize the international division,improve the investment environment and enhance the level of international business to promote SMEs leaping-development.
