从《后苏龛合集》看施士洁对台湾地方事务的介入

Understanding Shi Shijie’s Intervention in Local Affairs of Taiwan from Collection of Hou Su Kan

施士洁是清末台湾文学一代宗师,对台湾古典诗文的发展有着重要的贡献。然而施士洁也是一位活跃于台湾政坛的名绅,他凭借"父子进士"家世,科举顺利,早成进士,较早介入台湾地方事务。一直以来,有关他参与台湾本地建设的文献较少,事迹也鲜为人知。透过施士洁《后苏龛合集》的分析,钩沉施氏在台拥有的崇高社会地位和对台湾科举士绅群体的影响,进而阐述他在政治、军事、公益事业、诉讼等方面介入地方事务的情形,展示清季台湾进士由文人转化为名绅的具体过程,为台湾近代史中进士群体的研究提供一段史实。

Shi Shijie,the great master in the late Qing dynasty of Taiwan literature,has made important contributions to the development of classical poetry of Taiwan.However,Shi Shijie,as a famous gentry,is also active in Taiwan’s political arena.By virtue of his family for ＂Father and Son Are Both Jinshi＂,he passed the imperial examination smoothly and became Jinshi early.He was involved in local affairs in Taiwan early.Since there has been little literatures about his involvement,and his deeds are little known either.Through analysis of Shi shijie’s Collection of Hou Sukan,this paper explores the Gou’s high social status and their impact to the groups of imperial examination gentry of Taiwan,and then elborates the circumstances for their involvemet in local affairs in politics,military affairs,charity,litigation and so on.To reveal the specific process for transformation from literati to famous gentry of imperial Jinshi group in taiwan,and provides some historical facts for Taiwan’s modern history research.
