浅谈高职公共英语通识课化和EVP化改革

Reform of Public English Teaching Mode in Higher Vocational Colleges from the Per- spective of Language Planning

从语言规划的角度改革公共英语教学模式,是要使高职公共英语教学摆脱"工具化"和"麦当劳化"的阶段,步入高职公共英语"通识课化"和"EVP化"的阶段,将公共英语的学科教育与素质教育紧密结合,使非英语专业的英语教学成为相关专业的双语教学,以达到培养"厚基础、精技能、高素质"人才的目的。

Reform of public English teaching mode from the standpoint of Language Planning need to make public English teach- ing break away from the period of ＂instrumentalization＂ and ＂McI）onaldization＂, and step into the period when public English could be handled as General Education and EVP. English educators could closely combine the subject education with quality edu- cation, and make public English teaching for non-English majors become bilingual teaching of corresponding majors, so as to train qualified personnel with ＂solid foundation, perfect skills and high aualitv＂.
