Economic Globalization and Cultural Pluralism

在当今世界体系的变动中 ,一个突出的现象就是经济和文化呈现全球化的趋势。经济和技术的巨大转变正在模糊国家间的界限 ,也在缩小民族间的差异 ,但是文化传统和意识形态造成的对立却又在加强 ,成为一个无法解脱的悖论。那些受全球经济影响的国家也将利用世界多极化趋势来重新塑造自己 ,阐明相互之间的权利和责任。虽然全球化已成为难以逆转的时代大潮 ,但种种迹象表明 ,意识形态和国家利益的冲突仍会占据主要地位 ,它与文化差异纠缠在一起 ,变得更加偏执 ,也更加难以改变。

In the change of the world system today,a prominent phenomenon is the globalization exhibied in economy and culture.The tremendous shift in economy and technology is blurring the limit among states and simultaneously decreasing the difference among nations,but the antithesis caused by cultural tradition and ideology is being enhanced,which is becoming an inextricable paradox.Utilizing the multipolar world,those states affected by global economy will remold themselves by expatiating on their respective rights and obligations.Despite the irreversible era of globalization,evdences indicate that the conflict between ideologies and national interests will still be dominant,which is entangled with cultural difference,thus becoming much more obstinate and even harder to change.
