On The Traditional View of Governing By Morals

德治是中国独特的法律文化现象，德治观的提出与发展，是中国古代杰出法律思想家长期思索的结果。德治作为治国手段，既有独特的优越性，也存在着先天不足。德治和法治并不冲突，我们可以借鉴德治的思路，建设好具有中国特色的社会主义法治。

Governing by morals is the Chinese unique cultural phenomenon of law.The advancing and development of the view of governing by morals are the results of the long thinking of the Chinese ancient outstanding law thinkers.As a means of governing the country,governing by morals has both unique advantaqes as well as defiencies.Governing by morals has no conflict with governing by laws.By using governing by morals as reference,we can build the socialist law－ governing system with the Chinese features.
