The Strategic Orientation of Tourism Development in Wanzhou District

万州移民开发区撤消以后，万州区仍然存在很大的旅游优势潜力。万州区主体经济功能仍应定位为商贸旅游区，经济战略发展的基本方向应定位为建成三峡库区最大的商贸旅游中心。万州区应选择以城市旅游为重点的旅游发展战略，并将城市景观作为支撑万州旅游发展的第一主导产品。

After the rescindment of Wanzhou relocation Development Area, Wanzhou district still has great potential of tourism. The major economic function of Wanzhou district should be commerce, trade and tourism. The orientation of strategic development of its economy is to build Wanzhou into the largest center of Commerce, trade and tourism in Three-Gorges reservoir area. The development Strategy of its tourism should focus on urban tourism with city landscape as the priority.
