转基因技术已被许多国家广泛用于生产转基因动物和农作物。转基因食品在其生产过程和内在品质方面都占有明显优势 ,但人们对其食用安全性却心存疑虑 ,近年来国际食品贸易也因此受到很大影响。世界各国及有关组织已经重视对转基因食品的安全性和营养价值进行评价 ,现正讨论制定转基因食品的国际安全标准 。
The transgenic technique has been greatly used for producing transgenic animals and crops. Transgenic foods have clear superiority on their production process and inner quality. But people take a sceptical attitude towards the safety of these kinds of foods, and the international food trade has been greatly affected by people , s doubt attitude in recent years. Now many countries and organizations pay attention to the evaluation the safety and nutrition of transgenic foods.They have been discussing how to draw up the international safety standards for transgenic foods. Some countries enforce the management on these foods by attaching a special label for explanation. [
