翻译价值观与翻译批评伦理途径的建构——贝尔曼、韦努蒂、皮姆翻译伦理思想辨析

Translation Values and Construction of Ethical Approach to Translation Criticism Studies——Identification of Berman's, Venuti's and Pym's Thoughts on Translation Ethics

翻译伦理研究有助于明确翻译活动的本质、确立翻译价值观,而翻译价值观的确立从根本上决定着对翻译价值的追求与实现,也就从根本上决定着翻译批评理论与实践的方向与目标。因此,对翻译伦理的探索与思考是翻译批评研究中不容忽视也不可或缺的重要组成部分。然而,翻译伦理的内涵十分丰富,在不同民族、不同身份、不同翻译观的研究者那里呈现出形而上的、政治的、功能主义的等种种不同特征,须深入地加以理解与辨识。在此认识的基础上,本文着重讨论贝尔曼、韦努蒂和皮姆三位学者的翻译伦理思想,借以探寻翻译批评研究的伦理途径。

The studies on the ethics of translation could contribute to clarifying the nature of translation and to establishing translation values. The establishment of translation values fundamentally determines the pursuit and realization of the value of translation, therefore determines the orientation and the purpose of translation criticism from the bottom. Therefore the exploration of the ethics of translationand the reflections on them are indispensable parts of translation criticism studies. However, the connotation of the ethics of translation is abundant. It presents metaphysical, political, functional characteristics etc., as a result of different nations, identities and translation views of researchers. Thus it requires deep understanding and identification. Based on this view, this paper discusses Berman＇s, Venuti＇s and Pym＇s thoughts on the ethics of translation, trying to explore the ethical approaches of translation criticism studies.
