The fall of Constantinople in 1453 was the end of the Byzantine Empire, during which the religious disagreement and bifurcation was tearing the public. Later historians pay more their attention to the topic of religious difference than the public spiritual status in the last battle. The different witnesses of the battle recorded the battle, the descriptions of which left to the later historians the historic materials about the information of the public spiritual status, with people's devitalization, incapacitation, despairing, desperateness, discourage, weak fighting will, hopeless, losing heart and losing head on their future and fate, as well as desperateness, self-abandoned, suffering from nervous fears, and scared to death, all which are vividly reflecting the decline and fall of the Byzantine Empire.
