The background of Six Sigma management implementation in Shougang Qian＇an Iron and Steel Company was introduced in this paper. The key factors which led to the successful implementation were analyzed, and the achievements were summarized. The practice indicated that the key factors of implementing the Six Sigma management successfully included the attention and participation of senior leaders, clear plan, sound management system, right project and person selection, precise process management, reasonable progress and achievement evaluation, and effective encouragement mechanism.
