We have improved the relay controlled elevator using VVVF inverter (AC two speed elevator, AC regulating speed elevator, DC elevator, etc.). The method have many advantages for improving the running capability and safety capability, enbancing comfort feeling and reducing cost, This method represent the main way in the improvement of elevator. This paper introduced the actual application of VVVF inverter in the improvement of elevator system.
