By tracing back the classic medical books of“Inner Canon”,“Treaties on Origins and Syndromes of Miscellaneous Diseases”,“Thousand Golden Prescriptions”and“Peaceful Holy Benevolent Prescriptions”,this article explores the origin of the theory on stroke in the five Zang organs,analyses its development in the pathogenesis and syndromes and displays its clinical significance.
