Sugarcane Flowering Induction through Artificial Manipulation

为甘蔗育种提供足够的杂交种子和利用各省(区)甘蔗品种资源进行基础杂交,为高贵化育种计划创造出优良材料,我国有几个省的甘蔗育种单位正在进行人工诱导甘蔗开花及杂交试验。本文主要讨论了在我国人工诱导甘蔗开花的必要性和分析讨论了影响甘蔗抽穗开花的主要因素,希望本文对甘蔗的育种实践能提供有益的帮助。

In order to supply enough true seeds for sugarcane breeding and under- take basic crossing to create superior clones for the nobilization with the use of local sugarcane germplasm,effectively,experiments are being carried out for inducing of sugarcane flowering through artificial manipulation in several provinces.In this paper,it has discussed the necessity to manipulate sugar- cane flowering for breeding in China,and the main rasters affected sugarcane flowering.It would benefit the practice of sugarcane breeding.
