Iodine nutritional status of the residents in Conghua City in 2012

目的调查从化市成人和孕妇碘营养状况,掌握从化市成人和孕妇碘缺乏防治效果,为今后制定防治措施提供更加科学、可靠的理论依据。方法采用单纯随机抽样方法,对从化市居民食用盐碘、饮用水碘、成人和孕妇尿碘进行测定。结果 2012年从化市碘盐覆盖率为99.67%,碘盐合格率为93.31%,合格碘盐食用率为93.00%,盐碘含量中位数为27.75 mg/kg;水碘含量中位数为19.25μg/L;成人尿碘中位数为188.5μg/L,孕妇尿碘中位数为169.5μg/L。结论从化市成人和孕妇尿碘中位数处于适宜水平,碘缺乏病防治措施落实,达到国家消除碘缺乏病标准要求。

[ Objective ] To investigate the iodine nutritional status of the adults and pregnant women in Conghua City, to master the effect of prevention and control of iodine deficiency, and provide more scientific and reliable theory evidence for formulating preven- tion and control measures. [ Methods ] Simple random sampling method was adopted to perform determination of the iodine content in the edible salt and the drinking water, the urinary iodine of the adults and pregnant women. [ Results] In Conghua City in 2012, the iodized salt coverage rate was 99.67%, the qualified rate of iodized salt was 93.31%, the edible rate of qualified iodized salt was 93.00%, the median content of salt iodine was 27.75 mg/kg, the median content of water iodine was 19.25 μg/L, the median urinary iodine of adults was 188.5 μg/L, the median urinary iodine of pregnant women was 169.5 μg/L. [ Conclusion] The median urinary iodine of adults and pregnant women a is at the appropriate levels in Conghu City, and the IDD （ Iodine Deficiency Disor- ders ） control measures are effective, which meet the national standard of eliminating IDD.
