从女性主义批评视角诠释福克纳的小说《献给爱米丽的玫瑰》,认为是爱米丽生活的与英国维多利亚社会相似的男权制、等级制社会秩序逼疯、扼杀了爱米丽。这一异化的社会秩序历时持久,遍及社会生活的方方面面。对于爱米丽的人生悲剧,社会负有责任,妇女们负有责任,爱米丽本人也负有责任。

This paper takes critical feminism perspective into A Rose for Emily by William Faulkner, and holds that it is just the social order in which Emily lives resembling that of Victoria age in Britain with patriarchy and caste system that drives her mad and kills her. Such alienated social order is long and lasting and pervades all facets of society. As to Emily＇ s tragedy, the society, women and Emily herself shall be held accountable.
