This article reviewed the pathogen, the evaluation, the medical treatment and the rehabilitation of facial nerve paralysis. It emphasized on two new scales for measuring impairments and disabilities associated with the facial neuromuscular dysfunction.The electromyography and complex therapy including kinetherapy, biofeedback and botulinum toxin A injection.
