Aim To predict the stability of alcohol extract of Wikstroemia chamaedaphne.Methods A HPLC method was established for the determination of simplexin.The stability of the alcohol extract was studied with classical isothermal method.Results The degradation of simplexin obeyed the first order kinetics.Conclusion The storage life of the alcohol extract at 20℃was about 4 years,while at 25℃was 2years.
