国外开发落后地区的经验及其对中国西部大开发的启示

The international experience in exploring undeveloped regions and its enlightenment to China's West

本文从区域开发理论出发，系统分析了中国西部地区社会经济发展过程，借鉴国外开发落后地区的成功经验，吸取其教训，指出西部大开发战略必须站在全局和经济全球化的高度，采用市场经济方式，实行地区投资转移，有选择地重点投入，点线式开发，协调发展。

In the view of regional development, the process of economic and social development in West China is systematically analyzed in this paper. And, by using international experiences and lessons in undeveloped regions, this paper emphasizes that the development of West China should be under the guidance of the market economy. Based on the economic globalization, more investment has to be transferred to West China where there are cheap laborers and abundant natural resources. The economic growth poles and industrial centers should be located along the main artery. At last, the corresponding and sustainable development in West China is also re suggested in this paper .
