Clinical experience of professor Yang Renxu about postmenopausal osteo- porosis

绝经后骨质疏松症系多因素复杂疾病,杨仁旭教授总结其病因以肾虚为本,而同肝脾功能失调相关,又常因痰瘀胶结而缠绵难愈。辨证施治时可根据患者症状发作的急缓将其分作急性发作期、慢性迁延期和恢复期三个阶段,全面分析驱邪与扶正的关系,注意肝脾同治,酌情考虑豁痰祛瘀;再者,在恢复期可结合患者病程发展规律,选择适当补肾方法,以治病求本。此外药物治疗之余,患者还应在饮食、体育锻炼、理疗乃至心理疏导等方面注意全面调摄。

Postmenopausal osteoporosis is a kind of mukiple factor disease. Professor Yang Renxu considered that it was abased on deficiency of the kidney, and always concerned with disorder in function of liver or spleen, which was often relapsed because of composite Tan-Yu. The keys to differentiation of symptoms and signs involved these following aspects： at first, departing it as acuteattack stage, chronic lag stage and convalescence; and then, analysing the propotion of strengthening healthy energy and expelling pa c factors; at the same time, paying attention to harmonizing liver and spleen, as well as properly reducing phlegm and removing haemostasis. Besides medication, Professor Yang Renxu often suggested the patients should adjust their diet, properly reinforce physical exercises, and control their own emotion in order to consolidate the curative effect.
