Discussion on the Mess of European Opera at the End of the Nineteenth Century and the Another Side of the Opera "Daughter of the West"

目前国内相关音乐文献中有关普契尼歌剧《西部女郎》的创作不足与所处时代背景讨论甚少。本文由此两方面入手,整合国内外相关文献资料进行分析并提炼出自己的理解认识,试图为正确把握这部歌剧的艺术特质提供一个新的视角。

Currently, there are few relevant domestic music litera： tures on the creation deficiency and historical background of Puccini＇s opera ＂Daughter of the West＂. With the above two as- pects as the breakthrough point, this paper integrates and ana- lyzes relevant literatures at home and abroad and extracts the writer＇s own understanding, aiming to provide a new perspective for the correct mastery of the artistic properties of this opera.
