In this paper, the science and technology management information system, the science and technology informa- tion service system and according subsystems, which construct the framework of the science and technology information management platform of research institutes, are introdueed. In addition to this, the funetional and business processes are also described, which should be very important for research institutes and construct their own science and technology information management platform.
