医师职业精神是由医师职业性质、特点等内在要求决定,并由医师职业主体表现出来的整体精神风貌。对当代医师职业精神的研究除了重视外围的影响因素外,还应从发生学的角度深入到医师职业的内部因素,即医疗背景的商业性、医患关系的普遍性、现代疾病的复杂性、医疗信息的不对称性、临床路径管理的科学性、医疗过程的高技术性以及医疗结果的可及性等。揭示这些医学与医疗实践的内在因素与当代医师职业精神的生成发育关系,由此把握当代医师职业精神的本质并寻求培育与弘扬当代医师职业精神的有效途径。

Determined by the inherent requirements in terms of the nature and characteristic of the medical professionalism, the medical professionalism is the overall spiritual feature which is performed by the professional agents engaging in the medical vocation. In addition to the emphasis on the external factors, it is necessary for researchers focusing on the medical professionalism to take the genetic perspective to concentrate on a series of internal factors, such as the commercial character of the medical service system, the far-reaching extent of the physician-patient relations, the complexity of modern disease, the unbalanced access to medical information, the scientific requirements of clinical management, the rigorous technical criteria to meet in the treating process, as well as the uncertain possibility of successful treatment. Through revealing the genetic influence that such internal factors impose in the shaping of the medical professionalism, researchers will better understand the nature of medical professionalism, and will gain an dfective approach to cultivate and carry forward the virtuous medical professionalism.
