非正规住区与风景园林视角下的公共空间设计

Informal Settlements and Public Space Design in the Landscape Architecture Perspective

非正规住区是发展中国家和欠发达地区城市的一个重要组成部分。通过世界范围内的成功案例,探索风景园林视角下的公共空间设计策略在非正式住区的环境品质提升、居民参与、增强社会凝聚力和城市融合等方面的价值和意义。风景园林设计师通过设计工作来改善那些被忽视的公共空间,可以产生初始动量推动非正规住区转向宜居社区,对我国"城中村""棚户区"改造具有一定借鉴意义。

Urban informal settlements are a non-ignorable part in the developing world and underdeveloped regions. Through worldwide successful cases, this paper explores the value and significance of public space design strategy in landscape updates, quality improvement, residents＇ participation and social structures building, neighborhood relations, urban integration and other aspects by using the perspective of landscape architecture. By designing those neglected public space, landscape architects can promote the transformation from these informal settlements to livable communities. This will have certain reference in updating shanty towns in China.
