Analysis and Research on the Traffic Network of Historical City Based on the Space Syntax——Taking Taiyuan Ancient City as an Example

空间句法提供了一套量化描述空间结构的方法。文章阐述了空间句法的简单应用,并采用空间句法的轴线模型分析方法,以太原古城为例,分析古城整体的交通网络特征,为古城的保护、更新和复兴提供了引导和支持。

The space syntax method provides a quantitative d- escription of the spatial structure. This paper expounds the ap- plication of space syntax, and using the analytical method of space syntax axis model, taking Taiyuan ancient city as an exa- mple, analyzes overall characteristics of traffic network in ancient city, to provide guidance and support for the protection, renewal and rejuvenation of ancient city.
