Two Exhibitions Early Held in Brooklyn Museum

中国文化源远流长,中国传统家具作为中国文化大代表之一,同样也具有深厚的文化内涵。本文以纽约布鲁克林博物馆东方艺术部主任乔治?凯茨在鲁克林博物馆举办的两次中国家具展为例,来深情地讲述其在北京生活的记忆和自己在北京受到的审美教育,以及探究这些艺术品背后的人文环境。

Chinese culture has a long history. Chinese traditional furniture, as one of China＇s culture Congress also has a profound cultural connotation. This paper use two Chinese Furniture Fair in New York at the Brooklyn Museum of Oriental Art held at Brooklyn Museum directed by George Cates for example to talk about memories of his life in Beijing and his Aesthetic Education in Beijing, then explore the human environment behind these works of art.
