The Dissemination and Development of Tibetan Buddhism in Taiwan

1949年,以章嘉活佛为代表的藏传佛教僧人和宗教团体入住台湾,使台湾社会原有的宗教生态开始发生改变,台湾地区很多佛教信众以这些高僧活佛为师,推动了台湾地区藏传佛教的传播与发展。

In 1949, the Tibetan Buddhist and the religious groups represented by Zhangjia, a living Buddha lived in Taiwan, which influenced the original religion of Taiwan. The Buddhists in Taiwan worshiped them for the teachers, which promoted the dissemination and development of Tibetan Buddhism.
