William Wordsworth is a great English Romantic poet, and he is now considered by some scholars to be placed just below Shakespeare and Milton in rankings of the great English poets. Being the issues of critics, Wordsworth＇s poetry and poetic theories have aroused various concerns at home and abroad. Wordsworth had been dubbed as a ＂Poet of Nature＂ by Shelley, but in fact he is a poet concerned for human nature. On the basis of the analysis of the poetical texts, the author investigates human nature in Wordsworth~ poetry.
