To solve the problems in the teaching of the course of Water Pump and Pumping Station, this essay pres- ents relevant suggestions on its reform in the aspects of modifying the traditional teaching mode to stress the cultiva- tion of students＇ professional abilities, improving and enriching the classroom teaching methods and reforming the practical teaching to focus on competency development.
