Spain is the third country which practices the legalization of the same-sex marriage. The same-sex marriage Bill goes into effect on July 3, 2005. The Bill includes the same right for all the citizens, and the right of adopting the same-sex couple. The Bill in Spain suffered a lot of objections, including the People＇s Party, Catholicism and some groups. The same-marriage Bill passed through the voting by the House of Representatives at first. But the Senate refused. And the House of Representatives passed the Bill again finally. The legalization of the same-sex marriage is the compromise and balance of varies interests and faiths.
