摘要
词汇是语言的三要素之一,它在语言学习过程中起着非常重要的作用。然而,词汇的习得却是大多数英语学习者深感头痛的问题。本文以联想主义学习理论为指导,探讨了英语词汇的记忆策略,包括对比联想记忆策略、近似联想记忆策略、上下义联想记忆策略、谐音联想记忆策略、部分整体联想记忆策略、派生联想记忆策略和形象联想记忆策略等,以期对英语学习者的词汇学习有所裨益。
Vocabulary is one of'the three elements of language, which plays a very significant role in ihe process of language study. Yet, vocabulary acquisition has become a hard nut for most English learners to crack. This paper, based on associative theory, probes into the mnemonical strategies of learning English vocabulary( including strategies of exploiting antonymy, synonymy, hyponymy, rhyming and alliteration, meronymy, derivation and image, etc.) in the hope of giving some beneficial advice to English learners and their vocabulary study.
