Based on the single chip microprocessors, an intelligent technical improvement method for the pressure difference water level meter is presented. The hardwares are the programmable chips PSD311 the softwares are developed according to the mathematical models of the conditions in the field. The real difficulties for the automatical full scale pressure compensation of the meters are solved. The meters have the advantages of a higher precision and a higher operational stablility and is available for reference for the meter improvement design in the 100MW plants.
