摘要
传统的大学英语教学法对学生英语应用能力的培养发挥了积极作用,但社会的发展对大学生英语应用能力提出了更高要求。教师要使用先进技术,改革教学方法,为学生营造独立自主性学习情境,使当代大学生能更好地激发学习兴趣、改进学习方法、吸收更多知识。本文强调,教师是教学改革的关键人物,起着举足轻重的作用。教师要在教学改革中对旧的教学法有选择性继承,对新的教学法要探索出一套行之有效的模式。
The traditional teaching method of College English has played an active role in fostering students' ability to use English, but social development sets an even higher demand on the applied ability of students' English. The teacher should use advanced technology, reform their teaching method and build an independent study situation for the students so as to activate their study interest better, improve their study methods of absorbing more knowledge. The paper emphasizes the teacher's pivot and decisive position in reforming the teaching method. The teacher should selectively carry forward the old teaching method and explore something effective about the new teaching methods as well.
