摘要
甜菜碱在体内转甲基循环中起重要调节作用。在饲料中添加甜菜碱可以减少蛋氨酸和胆碱的需要量而满足动物的甲基需要,从而提高蛋氨酸和胆碱的利用率。甜菜碱与体内调控生长、代谢的活性物质如GH、IGF—I等具有相互作用,饲喂甜菜碱能提高血液生长激素水平,提高能量和氮的利用率,促进动物生长,改善胴体品质,提高饲料报酬。
Betaine plays an important role in the regulation of the transmethylation cycle in vivo. Supplementation of betaine can reduce the requirement of methionine and choline, and meet animal~ methyl group need. In addition, betaine might enhance methionine and choline availabil- ity. It shows direct interactions of betaine with growth - regulating and metabolic factors, such as growth hormone, insulin - like growth factor - 1. Adding betaine to the diet can elevate the plas- ma growth hormone level, improve the utilisation rate of energy and nitrogen, consequently, pro- mote animal growth and improve carcass quality and feed efficiency.
